Step 1: Enable Batching for Products

1. Log in to your Tijarah360 dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Products section.
3. Locate the product for which you want to enable batch tracking and click Edit.
4. Scroll to the Batching option and toggle it ON.

Step 2: Add Batch Numbers and Expiry Dates

1. In the product’s Stock Management section:

   • Click Manage Stock or Add Batch Information.

2. Enter the Batch Number for the stock.
   Example: "98720241203"

3. Input the Expiry Date for the batch.
   Example: "31/12/2024"

4. Specify the quantity of stock associated with the batch.
   Example: "50 units"

5. Repeat for multiple batches if needed.

Step 3: Save Batch Details

2. Click Save to update the product's batch and expiry details.

1. Navigate to the Inventory or Batch Tracking section.
2. View active batches, their expiry dates, and stock quantities.

• Batch Status:
  • Active: Stock that is still within its expiry period.
  • Expiring Soon: Stock nearing its expiry date.
  • Expired: Stock that is no longer usable.

Step 5: Receive Expiry Alerts

1. Enable Expiry Alerts for products in the Stock Management settings.
2. Set a threshold for expiry alerts.
   Example: "Alert me 15 days before expiry."

When the expiry date approaches, Tijarah360 will notify you to take appropriate action (e.g., discounts, promotions, or write-offs).

1. Enable batching for "Fresh Milk."
2. Add the following batch details:
   • Batch 1:
     • Batch Number: "98720241201"
     • Expiry Date: "31/12/2024"
     • Quantity: "100 units"

     • Batch Number: "98720240105"
     • Expiry Date: "15/01/2025"

3. Set an expiry alert threshold of 7 days.
