This article provides a step-by-step guide to creating crates in Tijarah360. A crate can be used to manage grouped items effectively for storage or sales. Follow the detailed instructions below to ensure accuracy.

Step 1: Select the Type

  • Type: Choose "Crate" from the dropdown to specify the type of grouped items.
    Example: Select "Crate" if creating a crate of water bottles.

Step 2: Enter the Name

  • Name (English): Provide an English name for the crate.
    Example: "Water Bottle Crate (24 Pack)"
  • Name (Arabic): Provide the equivalent name in Arabic.
    Example: "صندوق زجاجات مياه (24 عبوة)"

Step 3: Specify the Box

  • Box: Select an existing box that is part of this crate.
    Example: "Single Water Bottle"

Step 4: Define the Box Count

  • Box Count: Input the number of boxes contained in the crate.
    Example: "24" (indicating 24 bottles in the crate)

Step 5: Assign a SKU

  • Crate SKU: Enter or generate a unique SKU for the crate. Use the Generate Random SKU button to automate this.
    Example: "768878001"

Step 6: Add the Crate Code

  • Crate Code: Use an internal identifier or custom code to easily reference this crate.
    Example: "76854666"

Step 7: Set Pricing

  • Cost Price: Enter the cost price of the crate (in SAR).
    Example: "50.00 SAR"
  • Selling Price: Enter the retail price for the crate (in SAR).
    Example: "75.00 SAR"

Step 8: Provide Additional Details

  • Description: Add a detailed description of the crate and its contents.
    Example: "A crate containing 24 premium 500ml water bottles, ideal for bulk purchase."
  • Non-Saleable Toggle: Enable this if the crate is not for direct sale.

Step 9: Assign Locations

  • Locations: Select the warehouse or store where the crate will be stored or sold.
    Example: "Jeddah Warehouse"

Step 10: Configure Stock Management

For each location, provide detailed stock tracking information:

  • Billing Availability: Toggle ON/OFF billing at this location.
  • Stock Tracking: Toggle ON/OFF stock tracking for the crate.
  • Stocks: Enter the current stock quantity.
  • Low Stock Alert: Enable alerts for low stock.
  • Alert Count: Set the threshold for low-stock alerts.

Example for Jeddah Warehouse:

  • Billing Availability: Enabled
  • Stock Tracking: Enabled
  • Stocks: 100 crates
  • Low Stock Alert: Enabled
  • Alert Count: 10

Step 11: Save the Crate

After verifying all fields, click the Create button to finalize and save your crate.
